The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the project listed below. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, transportation, managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to renovate Falcon Park, located at 3420 West Roosevelt Street, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. The park renovations include a new playground, picnic ramadas, walking pathways, new basketball courts, restrooms, fitness area, new dugout fencing, area lighting, parking relocation, and landscape and irrigation improvements. Except as otherwise required in the specifications, proposal preparation and construction of projects shall be in accordance with all applicable Maricopa Association of Governments' (MAG) Uniform Standard Specifications and Uniform Standard Details, latest revision and the City of Phoenix Supplements to the MAG Uniform Standard Specifications and Details, latest revision. This project is funded by Community Development Block Grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The prevailing basic hourly wage rates and fringe benefit payments, as determined by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act, shall be the minimum wages paid to the described classes of laborers and mechanics employed or working on the site to perform the contract. The City of Phoenix, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252.42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
