Additional Information

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the GO Bond project listed below. Phoenix Fire Station No. 15 is a new single-story building of approximately 20,810 square feet. The proposed facility includes four apparatus bays, 16 dormitories, fitness room, community room, kitchen, and work/living spaces. The fire station is designed per the City of Phoenix Fire Department building design standards and will incorporate environmental design principals similar to LEED to reduce energy consumption and water preservation. The building envelop is composed of insulating concrete forms and concrete masonry unit walls with conventional wood, steel framing, and insulated metal deck roof. The developed site is approximately 7.07 acres of undeveloped desert rangeland located on the southwest conner of 45th Avenue and Camelback Road. Sewer and water services will be extended from right-of-way. A Small Business Enterprise goal of 13% has been established for this project.
